Create Success Models (Competency Models) for your CEO and Executives
Before we can identify CEO and executive successor candidates in a valid way, first we create a Success Model that documents the internal and external competencies required for leadership success in your organization.
Talent Benchstrength Solutions, LLC can work with you to create these Success Models, and then use this tool to compare the current competency levels of potential executive successors against the model.
Once we identify the strengths and gaps as compared to the success model for each potential executive successor, we can then create development plans.
This process will also include career discussions (using a template) with each successor candidate, to best align their career interests with the future leadership needs of the organization, and to increase validity of the succession plans (it doesn’t do a lot of good to identify and develop a successor only to find that person is not interested in the role)!
